Silky Milk And Honey Bar Soap
This soap is just beautiful and also good for your skin! When using goat's milk as your base you can be assured that it is rich in fats that nourish and hydrate that skin. Add to that the moisturizing power of raw honey and you are going to love how your skin feels! Here is what you will need:
All found on Amazon:
Goat’s milk soap base
Soap mold or silicone mold
Organic raw honey
Yellow and pink soap color (optional but I used Mica Power here)
Break your goat’s milk soap base in half so that you can use the other half later.
Then, break down in to smaller chunks. Put the soap chunks into a microwave-safe container (I like glass but will be hot so be careful)
Microwave the soap chunks for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat until the soap base has melted completely.
Add 3 tablespoons of honey to the melted soap base, and mix well.
If you’re adding any coloring, now is a good time to do it. We chose yellow to give the honey color.
As the soap cools you can add your essential oils of choice and be generous!
Pour the soap and honey mixture into your chosen mold. We found these decorative soap molds that made beautiful soaps. Let the soap cool completely, which could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity of the room.
When your soaps have solidified, carefully remove them from the mold and enjoy!
